ROUND2 - Monday May 30th / Wednesday May 23rd 2012

Week2 of the 2012 West Cork Masters League sponsored by O'Brien's Bar Rosscarbery takes place this coming week writes Ger McCarthy.
Drinagh Rangers and Rosscarbery kick things off in Round2 of the West Cork Masters League on Monday evening with the Canon Crowley Park club anxious to build on their opening night victory away to Bunratty United. Rosscarbery produced a battling display in their Round1 defeat at home to Clonakilty Town and should provide Rangers with a stern test. Ardfield host Bunratty United in Carrigroe on Tuesday night with both sides having been involved in high-scoring encounters last week. There should be plenty of goals in this match-up with home advantage likely to swing the result in Ardfield's favour.
There are three fixtures scheduled for Wednesday evening with Dunmanway Town travelling to Cloughduv to take on the reigning champions and hoping to bounce back from their opening day 3-2 loss at home to Ardfield. Skibbereen will be going for their second consecutive league victory when Castletown Celtic visit the Baltimore Road for their opening assignment of the new campaign on the same night Courtmacsherry make the short trip to Darrara for a local derby with Clonakilty Town.
